Tely Launches Tely Touch and Announces Partnership with Videxio

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – March 7, 2016 – Tely announced today the launch of Tely Touch, which takes ease-of-use and user interaction benefits to the next level by adding touch interfaces to the Tely 200 video endpoint. With Tely Touch, initiating your virtual meeting room and controlling your collaboration experience is right at your fingertips. Tely is also expanding its portfolio of cloud video solutions and networks partners to include Videxio.

“With Tely touch, we’ve designed an easy to use and intuitive touch interface for seamless interaction,” says Todd Abbott, president and chief executive officer of Tely. “Users can initiate video collaboration easily with one touch dialing, simply share and control their experience, allowing them to get the most out of their meetings.”

Tely Touch key features:

  • Initiate video collaboration with one touch dialing from the integrated calendar, which is accessible on the home screen
  • Instant access to virtual meeting rooms via directory
  • Easily share content, adjust camera views, change layouts and more
  • Use the tablet camera to display an in room whiteboard or objects such as product prototypes, needed for collaboration

The Tely Touch application will be available on Google Play in April. The Tely Touch application requires a tablet for Android™ which is paired with a Tely 200 video collaboration endpoint.*

In addition to Tely Touch, Tely continues to expand its portfolio of cloud video solutions and networks partners to now include Videxio. With an endpoint subscription from Videxio, any Tely 200 user will get their own video address, connect securely from behind the corporate firewall and have access to Videxio’s global QoS video network.

“The Tely 200, paired with the Videxio service, is ideally positioned to capture the explosive growth in the Huddle Room market, says Karl Hantho, president, Videxio Americas. With a fully automated activation workflow, Tely endpoints can be deployed and provisioned in a simple, highly scalable manner. The intuitive user interface and streamlined experience, coupled with remote management via Tely Portal will make it easy for customers to deploy our cloud-based video service deeper into the enterprise.”

“We are excited to add Videxio as a partner, further expanding our ability to bring the best possible video collaboration experience for users in more huddle spaces,” continues Abbott.

Tely is now supporting both SIP and H.323 protocols, which will enable customers to maximize the return on current investment and support new deployments.
