Designed for the living room
The wide angle lens, HD camera, and four noise cancelling microphones are designed so that everyone on the couch will be seen and heard in beautiful HD.
Smart and independent
You don’t need a computer. telyHD is a stand-alone device that runs the Android operating system. Think of it as a tablet computer that uses your TV screen and home audio speakers when you are on a video call. Learn more about Android and the telyHD entertainment platform.
Ready to go
There’s no software to install – telyHD is ready to go. Simply link it to your home network and connect to your HD TV using the HDMI cable (included). telyHD has built in WiFi, is 802.11 b/g/n compatible, and supports popular standards for password security including WEP,WPA, and WPA2.
Easy to use
Call with the push of a button. Just choose the person you want to call and push the select button on your telyHD remote. Answering a video call is easy too, just select the ACCEPT button.
Powerful
telyHD’s hardware is based on the Tegra 2 Dual-Core ARM A9 (blazing fast) processor from NVIDIA. Each core runs at 1Ghz and is designed to render high quality 720p HD video at 25 frames per second using the on-chip Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) Additional specs include 512MB of RAM and 2GB of memory storage.
Packed with features
When both parties have a telyHD you can instantly share photos with each other. Or pan, tilt and zoom your telyHD to show them something specific (or crop out that pile of laundry). If they don’t happen to be home when you call, you can leave them an HD video mail. Since telyHD is built on the powerful Android operating system, new Android applications will be available soon that take advantage of telyHD’s HD camera, microphones, and connection to the Internet.
