Tely Labs Lures Top Talent from Huawei, Polycom and Teliris to Accelerate Record Market Share Growth in Business Videoconferencing
Company Achieves 18 Percent Market Share

According to the most recent SpotCheck Video Conferencing report by Wainhouse Research, Tely Labs grew to an estimated 18 percent unit share of the single-codec videoconferencing endpoint market in North America. Further validation of the company’s position came from Frost & Sullivan Analyst Roopam Jain, who noted, “Tely Labs leads in the small/secondary conference room systems market.”*
To help the company meet heightened demand and build stronger sales channels worldwide, Tely Labs also announced it has enhanced its sales team leadership for operations in the US and Canada, Asia Pacific and Latin America, and EMEA:
- Rob Claus, Vice President of Sales, US & Canada joins Tely Labs from Huawei, where he served as Vice President of US Channel Sales and Marketing. Previously, Claus drove sales channels growth as Vice President of Distribution Channel Sales at Polycom.
- Daniel LeCour joins Tely Labs as Vice President of Sales & GM, Asia Pacific & Latin America. Prior to Tely Labs, he served as Director of Strategic Alliances for Polycom Global Services. LeCour has also held key executive positions with Envox Worldwide and Intel Corporation.
- Amit Walia, Vice President of Sales & GM, EMEA, joins Tely Labs from Teliris, where he served as Services Director for Emerging Markets. Previously, Walia served as Services Director for Emerging Markets, Strategic Alliances and Service Providers at Polycom.
